Are you into cars? If you are, welcome to the club! I actually don’t drive yet but this year, I suddenly felt the urge to drive and wish for my own car. This is the reason why I suddenly fancy cars so together, let’s see what are the best new cars for 2011, both in sedan and SUV types, according to Yahoo news.

Hyundai Fiesta will be available for sale this summer of 2010 in US but has been around in Europe since 2008. Its selling price is about $13,320 or roughly 600,ooo in Philippine pesos. Ford is making this model available for pre-order this summer. Ford Fiesta is rated on top of the affordable small car class.
Hyundai Sonata is pricier than Ford Fiesta with its selling price of $19,195 or about 860,000 pesos. According to the Yahoo Review, ‘the Sonata is now one of the cheapest cars in its class and continues to carry one of the longest powertrain warranties. It also comes with impressive standard features like XM satellite radio and Bluetooth.’

Kia Sorento is sold at $22,395 or about a million pesos. Yahoo auto reviewer said ’ is now one of the most comfortable-riding and powerful compact SUVs. It’s even giving class leaders, like the Toyota RAV4, a run for their money. The Sorento has an optional third-row seat (rare in this class), class-leading warranties, and impressive standard features like Bluetooth.’
Nissan Leaf will be available for reservation in the US starting May 15 at the starting price of $32,780 or about 1.5M pesos. The difference of the Nissan leaf is it will be first mass-produced all-electric vehicle. It can travel up to 100 miles on a full charge.
Any pick yet? My personal choice for a sedan is the ford Fiesta because it’s very affordable and I love its look. For SUV, I’m hands down with the Nissan Leaf.
