last night, our family went to a party of our friend Weng, who celebrated for two things: she will soon be a proud mother of a baby boy in two months, and she just passed the board exam for guidance counsellors.
The proud couple, Mark and Weng, tied the knots just last year at the Mount Carmel Church in New Manila. Weng is my husband’s friend from high school and since I went out with their barkada years back when my husband and I was still dating, I already became part of their group.
The party was a success and we all enjoyed the food and the videoke singing challenge. We only regret that we weren’t able to meet there another good friend of my husband, Che, who needs to go back to another country for another treatment for her illness. Apparently, her NC health insurance is not valid in the country so she needs to travel again for the treatment. God bless Che.
To Weng and Mark, congratulations to both of you and can’t wait to see the soon-to-be-playmate of our son!
