Whenever I visit a venue — a hotel, a restaurant, a resort — the first thing I really check out is the bathroom or restroom. I am very particular about this area as I always frequent restrooms. There are two (2) things I check on bathrooms, its cleanliness and aesthetic appearance.
Cleanliness is of course a standard requirement. You cannot compromise hygiene and sanitation and this should be one rule of the thumb for every joint, regardless of the simplicity or grandiosity of the structure. Since I am an artsy person, I am obsessed with beauty and adore beautiful bathrooms with wishful thinking that I’d own like that someday.
Hopefully, our financial state will stabilize next year and we will be able to fix our bathroom which was obliterated by the typhoon. Even if I cannot afford a magnificent looking bathroom, my simple desire is to replace and fix the worn-out floor tiles and decorate the bathroom walls with a really chic ceramic tile design.
