Online businesses are fast becoming the trend in the United States. In the Philippines, the industry is also growing at a fast rate as many Pinoy entrepreneurs see the internet as a profitable arena for business ventures especially when targeting a small market segment.
A friend of mine who started his business selling camping and mountaineering equipment and accessories started small. He put up a website for some bags and tents which became popular overtime to mountaineering enthusiasts. Last year, he decided to expand his business by delivering overseas and using online payment services for his transactions to target more customers paying via credit cards or via electronic payment schemes such as Paypal and Xoom.
For my brother-in-law who’s just starting his business and using the internet for marketing and promotions, my online entrepreneur friend advised him to also invest in the technology of using online payment services which according to him, improved his business big time.
The internet is a good venue for doing businesses, especially in the Philippines where online businesses remains tax-free. This is probably the best time to start planning online entrepreneurship to take advantage of the friendly business climate on the web. Just remember to always think of ways of improving your business as it reaches more clientele and gain popularity.

Nice post! I have another payment tool to be added to the list. Its the Billeo toolbar that I have been using and I must say I am quite happy with the way it works. It keeps my passwords secure, helps me pay bills and generate receipts whenever I shop online. Highly recommended! http://www.billeo.com/
