Three (3) more days to go before Christmas! I still can’t believe how fast Christmas is approaching. By this time, those who were to busy the last weeks are already rushing and trying to plan before the big day — buying gifts, planning for the noche buena menu, planning a vacation, etc.
Are you done with all of these? Or you prefer a simple, quiet, unpredictable Christmas? As for our family, we have decided to stick to our annual tradition of eating noche buena together. This is not easy as my husband will be working from Christmas eve until Christmas morning. Such a downer really but as the cliche goes: “if there’s a awill, there’s a way.”
Motivated by this, we have agreed that my son and I will be going to my husband’s workplace on the night of December 24 so we can still be together on Christmas eve. Just like the TV commercial, we will be dressing a little their workplace by bringing some patio furniture cushions and noche buena meal so we can still feel the festivity.
Christmas is best celebrated with people close to your heart so you can feel its spirit.
