Clean Up for the Holidays

I was very elated because the long holiday after Christmas was already declared by Malacañang as a long holiday! Hooray!

I was really excited because last year, only some days were declared holiday, not enough to really feel the spirit of Christmas. It’s always nice to have more days spent with family and loved ones on this season.

For a mom like me though, holidays does not mean rest, relaxation, and celebration only. It also means doing the laundry and ironing and house cleaning… It is the time for home decorating, clearing spider webs with spider traps, dusting the house… blah blah and more blahs. In simple terms, a long holiday also signifies hard work for a mom.

These facts does not dampen my spirits though about Christmas and the joy it brings. I’ve always loved this season and no matter how much work it entails, I would always wait for Christmas every year.
