Damaging Effects of the Heat

Our office just held our year’s teambuilding cum outing. Since it’s summer, it was held in a resort with pools and waves. I resolved not to dip in the pool this time and just play cards with friends. For weeks now, I’ve been using a whitening soap which somehow is showing effect on my skin and since it’s quite expensive, I’ve decided to sacrifice swimming over staying under the shade.

I was so engrossed with playing cards I forgot putting on sunblock. Even under the shade, the sun’s scorching heat can be felt. I was all sweat and by the end of the day, I was red. The following morning, there were little pimples on my face which I believe was caused by the heat and there were some parts of my skin with sunburn.

This prompted me to look for the best acne treatment product online as I have a big event to attend on Wednesday. I hope the acne treatment cream will do the work so I’d look better before the event.

While I love summer, I can’t help hating the unbearable heat especially during the night. Our airconditioning unit cannot even provide a good cooling feeling during nighttime, it’s really hot. We better be careful as the number of victims of heat stroke is increasing.
