This year, I am really hoping to get into home renovation, home repair, home augmentation… Anything that has something to do with doing some development in our small and quite messy house.
This was among the aftermath of typhoon Ondoy, leaving our home really dirty and messy. Even if we already tried cleaning and putting order it, it still look very disorganized because our cabinets and drawers are gone, destroyed by the flood.
Since the effect of the Ondoy caused such a big hilt in our budget, we cannot afford new appliance or any renovation. The thing is I feel very stressed when I’m at home now because I see clutter and mess everywhere, especially in the living room. To remedy this, my husband suggested we try some minor renovation using do-it-yourself home idea so we need not buy brand new appliances.
It was such a good idea except we don’t have DIY tools yet liks safety knives, box cutter, deburring tools and others. We can’t start our DIY makeover projects without these very useful tools. Oh well, first things first, maybe some of my friends can loan us those tools or we can start saving so we can buy those tools which are actually good investment. What do you think?
