Filipinos are probably experiencing the hottest weather in the history of the Philippines in the last weeks and is continuing everyday. The very hot temperature is expected to last until June this year.

Try going out in the midday and you’ll feel the scorching heat in your skin. Everyday, the record for the hottest day in the country is being surpassed. The effect of El Nino phenomenon or the drought is now being felt hardly in the agricultural and power industry. Supply of potable drinking water is also threatened to have a high-time low because of the low supply of water deposit in the dams.

If there is one thing positive about the severity of the hot weather, it is the fact that its easier to exercise with the heat. A little effort and you’ll have yourself drowned in sweat. With the use of some fitness equipment every morning, you’ll end up losing a lot of weight in no time.

Just some reminders though to bear the anxieties and potential health hazard of the hot season. A lot of people are now suffering from heat stroke.

  • avoid crowded areas
  • do not wear excessive clothing
