Full Service Treatment at the Astoria Plaza

For two nights and four days, I lived the life of the rich and famous staying at the full service residential suites of Astoria Plaza in Pasig City. This was my treat for serving as an organizer con 24-hour customer service provider for an international conference held at the same hotel.

I’ve stayed at different hotels in the past but this one-bedroom suite I stayed at Astoria really wowed me. It should as it cost more than 5,000 pesos per night. It has a nice view of the Metro as our room was at the 23rd floor, a nice kitchen, a bath with a tub, and a living room. The design is Zen, earth color and pretty abstract paintings. My son wishes to stay there forever.

Astoria speaks of modern architecture and I’m glad it is. Old cemented ones are made of asbestos which may cause asbestos mesothelioma
disease. The only spoiler for me about Astoria is the very slow moving elevators and the front desk which takes forever in answering telephone calls.

The food’s great, the rooms very pretty, and the technical and maintenance people are wonderful. Recommending it highly.
