I’m a fan of magazines that features beautiful houses. I adore houses with good interior designs. I drool over condos and rich-man’s homes that are beautifully crafted.

There are factors to achieving the look of a magazine-cover like home — expensive appliances, use of materials for the walls and flooring, and lighting.  I am not an interior designer but I have always been gifted with creativity and everything that I laid my eyes on and catches my fancy, I try to mimic in my house, in practicable and cheap ways. Ways that I can afford.

Since the country is experiencing global financial crises, I also attune my needs for a home makeover based on this global scenario. As much as I want to add more fixtures like  home lighting, I can’t simply do so since Meralco (the local power provider) charges hilariously for use of electricity.

I love drop lights and attractively-designed lights which I see in malls and hotels. I have seen capping or the regular type of molding in houses I have visited but ones with crown moldings are mostly used in hotels and in rich man’s pads. It was so beautiful,  very decorative and added a character to a room or to a piece of furniture it is attached to. I would love to use these kind of moldings for my next home makeover. No worry too on the installation part of these pretty woods since the site offer free tutorial on installation.
