Kitchen Makeover Tips

Since we just stayed at home for the holy week, I have decided to make use of my time renovating our small kitchen. It looked so disorganized and quite messy. I’ve long ago wanted to apply a makeover to this part of the house but never came to doing it.

The makeover was quite tiring. It started with detaching the old kitchen cabinet and repainting the whole area. We decided on a color theme and bought kitchen equipment which matched the theme. Instead of constructing new kitchen cabinet, I thought of using wire baskets which are more affordable and easy to install. In just some minutes, my husband were able to fix the wire mesh into the kitchen wall and put the wire baskets in place. I thought they really look good.

To finish the makeover, we need to replace the sink and the faucets but that should wait awhile since that would need some more budget. I’d like a stylish lavatory and faucet so it’s going to be quite expensive. I am willing to wait to have a beautiful kitchen so I’m not in such a hurry.

What about you, what kept you during the long weekend?
