Interior design has always been my fancy. Art has always been my passion and one of my outlets in expressing my creativity is through visual design. My laboratory for this is our very own home.
If I have a lot of money, our house would be a haven of beauty by now. But since I only have enough to support out daily expenses plus some, our home is ordinary looking to sometimes, drab, especially after Ondoy. It makes me frustrated so I’ve decided to little by little, do a home makeover.
The fad now are themed homes. Since I am a modern mom, a geek mommy actually, I like a modern home with a cozy feel. For this, the perfect theme would be Zen. I love Zen as it provides a homey look — simple, natural and warm. To achieve the zen look, I found these beautiful and colorful glass mosaic tile sets which are perfect for any wall and flooring.
There are so many designs and colors to choose from which can turn any boring house into an interesting one. You can even use these mosaic tiles as a centerpiece design of walls or floorings. I personally like the earth-colored ones for the zen look of my dream home. I can already imagine how it would light up any interior as an accent design.
