Moving Feeds From Feedburner to Google

Google recently acquired the hot website Feedburner.com which most bloggers use to deliver and manage their feeds to their subscribers via email. This includes me who uses feedburner services for all my three blogs.

For a long time,  Feedburner has been a reliable service provider for my blogs. My feed statistics as well as the “subscribe to email headliners” are customizable. I excitedly  watched my feed stat grow daily and really feel good each time there are new subscribers signing up.

When Google acquired  Feedburner, one of the best news was that we can now use our feeds for google adsense by migrating your feedburner account to your goggle account. This means that you can now manage your feedburner account alongside your google accounts. It was really rewarding right? I agree but probably because Google is still working on this new acquisition that that there are still annoying glitches like feedburner statistics reverting to 1 which happened to my blogs for a few days. I was really unhappy with this that I took off my feedburner widget so that people won’t see that because they would look at a wrong feedburner subscription stat.  I only brought the feedburner widget when the stat came back to the correct number but again experienced the same glitch sometime after.

I hope that feedburner services would stabilize soon as I hate seeing my statistics reverting to a small number of subscribers when I worked so hard on having readers on this site. I actually experienced these glitches when feedburner wasn’t owned yet by Google but now that this giant internet mogul owns this site, I am expecting so much from their services and I definitely don’t expect major glitches like incorrect statistics. Calling Google on this one…
