My son is turning six in two days. I can’t believe the days passed by too quickly.I can still remember in full colors and vivid detail how our boy, a miracle of life, came about. I have always  said I hope he would not grow up so I can always hold him in my arms and shelter him from world’s harm.

Technology  failed when the ultrasound result declared our baby would be a girl. We excitedly shopped for pink clothing, baby bedding and all other girly stuff our “daughter” would need. When the doctor proclaimed it is a baby boy, my husband looked at all the pink stuff he brought to the hospital with him. It was hilarious how our only son was draped with pink when we brought him out of the hospital.

Motherhood has brought so much changes to my life. It made me a better woman, a better person,  and a better servant of God and others. It is indeed stressful becoming a mother but at the end of the day, everything is all worth it.
