One of the aftereffects of the recent killer typhoon that hit our city was losing almost all our appliances. It was sad because each year, once I receive our Christmas bonus, I always buy a new appliance as a reward for a year’s hardwork.
Last year, I bought a 25-inch flatscreen television coupled with a nice television stand that matches the color of the TV. It became our living room’s centerpiece. What happened to it? Look at the photo.
After some time, the television was repaired although the buttons in front of the tv do not work anymore. At least we were able to save one appliance from the flooding. The tv stand though collapsed since it was made of wood, brittle ones.
When I visited my friend’s house yesterday, I fell in love with their new tv stand which is made of glass and steel, at least this one’s not going to break down when spilled with water plus the fact that it looks so gorgeous. With that, I went online looking for tv stands which I may be able to afford once our bonus is released. This is my Christmas simple wish.
