When I’m online at Facebook, I notice that every hour, I get fresh status updates from friends in my network. I also noticed that most of these status are quotations or quotes on love, expressions of feelings of love, and sentiments about love. Yeah, love is in the air for Facebook and must be for other social networking sites such as Friendster and MySpace.
Discussing love is not the only thing functional about Facebook, it’s also a good tool in sharing immediately photos and other stuff with friends in your network without leaving the comforts of your home. You can do this by tagging or sharing the photo, video, or link with friends.
Not only once I received invitations via Facebook which for me is pretty cool and practical for the celebrators. All they need is to upload the invitation photo via Facebook and presto, I would be able to read it and be invited. No need for pricey printing, saves paper and money so it’s both environmental and economical at the same time.
I’d say social networking sites are becoming useful and useful everyday, don’t you think?
