The 2009 Philippine Holidays

Are you interested to know the holidays for this year 2009? I am of course interested because as a working mom, I need to plan our vacation as early as I can. So here it is, straight from Proclamation No. 1699 from the President of the Philippines.

 

Special Non-Working Holidays

  • Ninoy Aquino Day – Monday, 24 August
  • All Saints Day – Sunday, 01 November
  • Last Day of the Year – Thursday, 31 December

 

Regular Holidays

  • Araw ng Kagitingan – Thursday, 09 April
  • Maundy Thursday – Thursday, 09 April
  • Good Friday – Friday, 10 April
  • Labor Day – - Thursday, 01 May
  • Independence Day – Friday, 12 June
  • National Heroes Day – 31 of August
  • Bonifacio Day – 30 November
  • Christmas Day – 25 December
  • End of Ramadan -  20 September
