Wordless Wednesday: Faith in the Eyes of a Person With Disability

I know this entry should be wordless but I can’t help telling you the story of this guy, “Abner,” a PWD (person with disability). I met him when I assisted a group of PWD to a tour. For the first time, I learned about the true meaning of “customer service.” Abner only walks through the help of his wood wand and really have difficulty in moving. What was cute about him was he kept on telling those who wanted to help him walk that he can manage and they would ruin his ironed polo shirt by their touch. I remembered Abner walking slowly inside the mall with eyes wandering and looking for creatures like elephants. Apparently, it was his first trip to the mall.

Aw…I like your words. They definitely add to the picture. How cute that he didn’t want his ironed polo to get messed up :)

    Happy WW!
