The philippine mango surpassed the past record of 2.4 kilo mango from Canada. The Department of Agriculture (DA) in Region 10 even made the biggest mango the highlight of the Sundayag activity in Cagayan de Oro late last year believing that this new Guinness record for the Philippines is another victory for local agriculture. The DA awarded the Bodiongan with cash incentives for their record-breaking mango.
